It's Good To Be Back!
After a three-season hiatus, it feels incredibly good to say it: "We’re back!"
New Mexico Girls Youth Basketball is returning to the community with the same purpose that started this journey years ago, to grow girls basketball in New Mexico and create more opportunities for young athletes to play, develop, compete, and chase their dreams.
And we are just getting started.
We are proud to partner with the McDermott Athletic Center, a longstanding part of our community, to provide court space where our girls can get back to work. Whether it’s through Skills Labs, pickup games, club team play, or new opportunities still ahead, we are building a place created specifically for girls and their growth in the game.
For us, basketball has always been about more than developing better players. It is about confidence, sportsmanship, self-esteem, hard work, and giving girls a place where they know they belong.
We could not be happier to be back in the gym, back in the community, and once again working alongside families and community partners who believe in the future of girls basketball in New Mexico.
We’re back. We’re building. And this is only the beginning.
